Dress Code

Monterey follows the district standard outlined dress code in our Student Behavior Handbook. Students are welcome and encouraged to show their school pride by wearing Monterey gear or school colors.  To maintain a safe learning environment with physical activities on most days, students are encouraged to wear functionable clothes and refrain from wearing the following items:

• High heels, loosely tied shoes, Heely Wheels or dangling earrings.
• Hats are not worn inside the building and music devices such as air pods or cell phones are not to be accessed during school hours.
• Pajamas, slippers, and blankets unless designated as a special class reward.
